Thank your joining us for the Missionary Ridge Road Race! We’re excited to have more than 300 racers joining us on the Ridge this year!

This event is presented by the Chattanooga Track Club, a non-profit, 501c3 organization that produces 14 events each year. Visit our website and check out our calendar at www.runctc.org and follow us on Facebook to see what else is going on – we’ve got an AWESOME variety of races in the upcoming months, from 5k to full marathon!

PACKET PICK UP (OPTIONAL) – FRIDAY, 08/10/2018
We will be at Front Runner Athletics (4251 Hixson Pike) from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM tonight (Friday 8/10). Come grab your bib and pick up the latest running gear! NOTE: You will pick up your bib/t-shirt only. Shoe chips will be handed out up at Bragg Reservation on race morning (be sure to remove & return your chip after the race).

RACE DAY PARKING
Reminder: There is NO PARKING up at the Bragg Reservation. Please park at McCallie School, 500 Dodds Ave. It’s a quick, 5-minute ride up to Bragg Reservation. Shuttle services will run throughout the morning to return you to your car. There will be a bag drop table and bathrooms available at Bragg Reservation

RACE DAY SCHEDULE – SATURDAY, 8/11/2018
• 6:00 AM – Parking opens & shuttle services from McCallie School begin to transport racers up to Bragg Reservation
• 6:30 AM – Race day packet pick up & registration OPENS
• 7:45 AM – Race day packet pick up & registration CLOSES
• 8:00 AM – Race Start
• 8:05 AM – 1 Mile fun run / walk start
• 9:45 AM – Post Race Award Ceremony at Bragg Reservation

TIMING & RESULTS
This race will be shoe-chip timed. If you pick up your bib tonight at packet pick up, please be sure to pick up your corresponding shoe chip on race morning. Please be sure that your shoe chip is SECURELY attached to your shoe (we will provide zip ties). Please do NOT put the chip in pockets or carry in your hands – it must be readable by the timing mat upon crossing the finish line

Please be sure to check the data on your bib. We will have your name, gender, etc. labeled on the back. PLEASE let someone at the registration table know if anything is incorrect. Correct demographics are extremely important for reporting of awards/age group winners. We will also post ‘unofficial’ results prior to the award ceremony for all racers to verify they are correctly listed. Make sure to check those and immediately notify us of any incorrect information

WALK UP REGISTRATION
We will take walk up registrations for both the time 4.7 mile race and 1 mile fun run tonight at Front Runner Athletics from 4pm to 7pm as well as on race morning from 6:30 am – 7:45 am. Cash or check are preferred. We expect to be able take credit cards, but additional processing fee will apply

RACE COURSE
Visit HERE for a course map. The 4.7 mile race begins on South Crest Rd. just below Bragg Reservation. It will head south on South Crest Rd, make a loop around East Crest, Peachtree, and then back up South Crest to the finish at the Bragg Reservation. The 1 mile course will use the same starting line. It will head ½ a mile on South Crest and return the race finish line at Bragg reservation

POST RACE
We will have water, PowerAde, iced towels, bagels, sandwiches and fruit waiting for you as you cross the finish line at Bragg Reservation – enjoy some great snacks and the view as you await door prize announcements and award ceremony. Don’t forget to grab a door prize ticket after you cross the finish line! (Must be present to win!)
AWARDS
Cash awards will be given to top 3 male and female finishers in addition to race awards as follows: Top 1 m/f: Overall, Masters, Grand Masters, Sr. Grand Masters. Top 3 m/f: 14&under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over
