CTC 50TH ANNIVERSARY LOGO DESIGN AND SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

OVERVIEW
The Chattanooga Track Club (CTC) is looking for a new Logo/Wordmark (mark) to help us celebrate the organization's fiftieth year in 2020. In order to engage with our community, the CTC is asking current members to submit their designs for consideration. The new mark may be used on the CTC website, social media sites, clothing, posters, souvenir memorabilia and gifts, or anywhere else the CTC chooses.
By submitting a design, participants agree to be bound by these rules. Violating or not following instructions may eliminate a submissions' eligibility. The CTC has the right to disqualify any submission at any time at its sole discretion



ELIGIBILITY
1. Submissions must come from active CTC member(s)



SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

1. Submissions will be accepted NOW through Monday, April 15, 2019. The committee for the Fiftieth Anniversary Celebration will select finalists by Monday April 22, 2019. The CTC Board of Directors will vote on presented finalists and select a mark by Monday, April 29, 2019.
2. Submissions must be sent electronically to the CTC at: 50years@chattanoogatrackclub.org Submissions must include full name(s) of all the person(s) who designed the logo, email address(es), & telephone number(s).
3. Designs must be submitted as JPEG files. For quality reproduction purposes, the chosen mark may later be submitted in scalable vector graphics format (EPS).
4. One or more submissions per person is acceptable. Each submission must be sent in a separate email



DESIGN GUIDELINES AND PARAMETERS

· Professional: While an eye catching mark is desired, it must be appropriate for business use and legible.
· Theme: The mark should clearly communicate the fiftieth anniversary of the CTC. The mark should complement the current CTC logo when displayed together.
· COLOR: There are no restrictions and any colors may be used. However, the mark must look good in any color (must be CMYK), including black or white. The mark should be legible on both light and dark backgrounds. It is advisable that designs avoid the use of gradients and halftones.
· REPRODUCTION: The mark must be easy to use, handle, resize, and manipulate for all reproduction purposes. It should be visually appealing on both small (as small as 2cm x 2cm) and large scales.
· INTEGRITY: Marks cannot contain copyrighted material. Marks must have been created and edited by the person(s) submitting. Marks may not include licensed images, fonts, or other licensed material(s)



COPYRIGHT
Entrants affirm their submissions are their own original work, have not been copied from others or from previous designs, including their own, and do not violate the intellectual property rights of any other person or entity. Submissions become the sole property of the CTC and may be used for any CTC purposes, including, but not limited to, display on websites, clothing, gifts, posters, and other materials. The CTC shall have the right to adapt, edit, modify, or otherwise use the selected submission in part or in its entirety in whatever manner it deems appropriate. The CTC reserves the right to choose not to use the selected entry as described in these guidelines. The CTC reserves the right to use any other entry for promotional purposes in the future.
