The Chattanooga Track Club offers timing services, equipment services, or equipment rental for races being held in the Chattanooga area.  Please contact our Timing Manager for information regarding pricing and availability:

Please note that a contract requiring signature will be issued for services and/or equipment rental.  Invoice for rental or services provided will be issued after the event.


Race Director must plan to coordinate pick up and drop off equipment before/after the race.  Typically pick up will occur the Friday prior to the event and drop off will occur the Monday following the event.
NOTE:  Equipment must be returned in the same condition as it was received.  Lessee will sign an agreement agreeing to cost and assuming responsibility for damages while in possession of equipment.

-          Miscellaneous race equipment (bullhorn, cones, water dispensers, etc.) - depending on availability.



Before entering into a timing service or equipment rental agreement, several factors are considered.  The list below indicates perquisites for CTC entering into an agreement with a third party event.  Availability of staff will also be a factor.

We will ask for the following prior to committing to timing or equipment services:

v  Confirmed race date w/all permits & insurance in place.  

v  Course is identified including start, finish and water stop/aid station locations (marked map requested).

v  Registration information is available (or ready to be made available).

v  Race day volunteer plan is in place.  Specifically volunteers related to course safety (sentries and aid station volunteers). 


-          Chip Timing:  CTC provides timing staff member.  Shoe chips are standard, but bib chips are an option (added cost and additional lead-time needed).   CTC staff member will time the event and provide race results race morning. 

-          Equipment Services: CTC provides staff member with equipment trailer containing items needed to put on a professional race.   Race must provide volunteers to place equipment on course and at race venue.   CTC staff will assist with unloading trailer and finish line set up (finish line arch available for additional cost. Please specify, if interested).   Trailer includes:  6 folding tables, 10 chairs, finish line pylons & ropes, Trash bags/trash cans, 5 x 20 gallon PowerAde water dispensers (fluids not included), 12 directional arrows, mile markers 1 - 6, portable PA, generator and other miscellaneous race supplies.
