Brief Overview

One of the most scenic runs in the state this race follows the brow of Signal Mountain on quiet neighborhood streets.  The first 100 finishers recieve a apple pie.  There is a prediction run ( no watches!).  New this year the 10K course is certified.

Awards Info

Homemade apple pies from the Bread Basket in Walden will be given to the first 100 runners.  Award for overall male and female winners, master (40+), and grand masters (50+).  No t-shirts or other age group awards.  There will also be door prizes.

Prediction Run Prize money($50, $30, $20) for the top three runners that come closest to predicting their finish times. ( Note no watches allowwed during race.)  Your prediction must be clearly marked on your race application in the space provided.  In order to qualify for prize money, finishing time must be less than 70 minutes.

 

Location

The NEW Signal Mountain Athletic Club in the FORMER Signal Mtn. Middle School building located at 315 Ault Road on Signal Mtn.

 

Registration

Registration may be made by pre-registering by mail or sign up the morning of the race from 6:45 to 7:30 am.   Registration fee is $10.00 make checks payable to PIE RUN 2011.

Directions

Take Route 27 to the Signal Mountain Exit.  Follow Signal Mountain Doad (127N) up the mountain, sevearl miles past the traffic light.  Turn right onto Ault Road just after Shoal Lane and just before teh grocery store.

 

Benefits

This year we are raising funds to support the Lose the Training Wheels Chattanooga Bike Camp which is a one-week camp that teaches individuals with disabilities to ride a two-wheel bicycle.  Donations can be made by adding any amount to your race fee check.  100% of your donation will go to Lose the Training Wheels and it is tax deductible.  Thanks you!

 

 

Course Info

A beautiful rolling course with two significant hills.  Beautiful views over East Brow Road.  This year the 10Km course will be USATF certified.
