The Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military park is located a few miles south of Chattanooga, Tennnesee, near the small town of Chickamauga, Georgia.

Awards Info

Awards and Age Groups
Top Overall Male and Female 15k and 5k receive a Civil War era, plaque-mounted saber or sword.
15k and 5k Masters and GrandMasters receive unique Civil War theme awards.
15k and 5k Age Groups awards are framed and matted on easels from the photographic collection of Robin Rudd "Signed With Their Honor".

15k Age Groups: 19 & under, 20-24,25-29,30-34,35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54, 55-59,60-64,65-69,70 & over.
5k Age Groups are the same except 14 & under and 15-19.


T-Shirts, Prizes, and Refreshments
All participants will receive a 100 percent cotton T-shirt. Post race refreshments include free muffins, bagels, fresh fruit, coffee, POWERADE, and Coca-Cola. There will also be drawings for some great prizes after the race.

Early Packet Pickup and Registration
We greatly appreciate your help in early packet pickup to reduce the wait and lines on race morning!

Runner's packets with T-shirts and race numbers will be available for pickup on Friday, April 14th.  Registration will also be available.

- 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Sports Barn North (1790 Hamill Rd. Chattanooga, TN 37343 423-870-2582)
- 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Sports Barn East (6148 Lee Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37421 423-855-0091)

Ask for a tour of the Sports Barn while you are there.  All entrants receive a free 3-visit guest pass to the Sports Barn.




Driving Directions
Traveling North or South on I-75, take the Battlefield Parkway Exit (about 5 miles south of Chattanooga) and travel west on Georgia Hwy 2A (Battlefield Pkwy) for about 7 miles.

Turn left (south) on Hwy 27 (Lafayette Rd). Continue south for about 1 mile and enter the Park.

Watch for CHASE signs for parking. Parking is at the recreation field near the Wilder Tower monument in the park's southwest corner. Start, Finish, and race staging areas are located in the field across from the Wilder Tower, about a five minute walk from the parking area at the recreation field..

The Super 8 Motel in Ft. Oglethorpe, GA offers the closest lodging. The motel is located approximately 1.5 miles north of the park entrance at 2044 Lafayette Rd. (Hwy. 27). A Special rate of $49 per night is available by referencing the Chickamauga Chase. The phone number is 706-861-1744.
