This downtown triathlon takes the place of the popular Chattanooga Dam Triathlon.  This downtown triathlon was a huge in its' inaugural year in 2005.  Look for a great weekend expo, great downtown Chattanooga restaurants and entertainment, and a fantastic day of racing along Chattanooga's revitalized waterfront.  You will experience some of the same run and bike course as in the past and some brand new stuff as well.  For newcomers and veterans alike...hold onto your tri bars, we are promising you a great weekend!  The 2006 event will serve as a SPECIAL QUALIFIER FOR THE 2007 USAT NATIONAL AGE GROUP CHAMPIONSHIP, location to be announced. This means the top 33% in each age group will qualify to compete in the USAT National Age Group Championship.
