Application
Brief Overview The race starts and ends at the Chattanooga Arboretum & Nature Center. The first group will start at 9:30 a.m.. This is an age/gender handicapped race. Males 25-29 are considered the fastest group and start at time "zero". All other groups will receive a head start. Females 80 and over will start at 9:30 a.m. and males 25-29 will start at 10:15. If you want to run with a friend in a different age category, youmay start later than you assigned start but not earlier. In the spirit of this annual event, runners are invited to bring goodies to share at the post-race feeding frenzy - no alcohol allowed. The race site is a nature preserve, so no pets are allowed.
Awards Info This is also a recycling event. Everyone is a winner - Bring one prize (running or non-running related) for the prize table. Dig into your closet to find that long-lost treasure that you know a fellow runner will cherish. The overall champion and top two-person family team will be awarded the coveted Golden Antlers trophy. The family team award is based on the combined finisihing times of both runners. Team members must have one of the following relationships: spouses, parent-child, grandparent-child, sibling or aunt/uncle iwth niece/nephew.

Course Info The course is a hilly 6.7 miles of gravel /dirt roads and rough double-track trails on the lower slopes of Lookout Mountain. The race involves steep up and down trails covered with leaves, rocks and limbs and includes an elevation change of 410 fet between the low point and the high point of the course.
