Welcome to the First Annual Chattanooga Bar Foundation and Chattanooga Bar Association Lawyers Have Heart 5K and 1 Mile walk event. Grab the kids or dogs or both and join us for a fun morning run or walk. Halloween Costumes are welcomed (but not required). Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash and cleaned up after. This event will take place on October 30, 2021. The 5K race will start at approximately 8:45 a.m. and the 1 mile walk will begin at 8:50 a.m. The start and finish will be at Camp Jordan Campground Pavilion located in Camp Jordan Park. Refreshments will be provided after the race. This inaugural event is in memory of attorney, Mike Anderson, who left this life on January 22, 2019 after suffering a heart attack while running with his colleagues. The race will benefit Chattanooga Endeavors, a local non-profit organization Mike was passionately involved with. You can learn more about this cause at www.chattanoogaendeavors.org This 5K and 1 mile walk is open to the public and people of all ages are welcome. Awards will be given to individuals who place 1st, 2nd and 3rd for each gender. And, since it is Halloween weekend, there will be awards for the best costume.
