Keep Soddy-Daisy Beautiful, in conjunction with the City of Soddy-Daisy, are hosting the Great Pumpkin Chase 5K and 1 Mile Walk on October 15 at 8 a.m. All proceeds, after costs, will be donated to the MaryEllen Locher Breast Center at CHI Memorial. We are inviting those who use handcycles, racing wheelchairs, or adaptive foot pedal bikes to join us. Children are welcome for the 5K or 1 Mile Walk, but those 12 and under may prefer to participate in the Trick or Trot instead, which will be held immediately after the 5K and 1 Mile Walk. For the Trick or Trot, a short distance on grass, costumes are encouraged, and all children will receive a prize.
