A Fun and laid back 5K run/walk professionally timed and safely led and followed by First Responders. This is the 6th year for the race and our participant numbers have increased each year. The course is gently rolling hills on paved road except the last few yards which is on light gravel. Our runners say the course is pleasant, with lovely lake views, reasonably easy and a great race to improve your time for bigger races. The race runs from Ten Mile to Euchee Marina where there will be refreshments and awards. Transportation back to Ten Mile will be provided. The proceeds from the race support our Meigs County Volunteer Fire Department. Proceeds from the past 5 years have improved both the safety for our firefighters and quality of service they can provide. It is an easy sign up on RunSignUp and we give shirts to all runners and swag bags with fun stuff to the first 100 runners registered. We hope to see you there!
