We are excited to announce the second annual Not My Child 5k Run/Walk and Community Fair to be held on November 15, 2025 at Ross Landing in Chattanooga, TN. This family friendly event is an opportunity for our community to come together for exercise and recreation but most importantly to raise awareness of the dangers of substance abuse. So often, parents are lulled into believing their child could not be impacted; the reality, however, is that substance abuse and addiction can happen to anyone’s child, especially today. This event will be chip timed by the Chattanooga Track Club on a certified course. The Zack Meservey Foundation was formed in 2015 in honor Zachary Ross Meservey, who passed away as a result of an accidental overdose. He was only 26. In addition to honoring Zack, the purpose of our organization is to provide education about the dangers of substance abuse and addiction throughout our community. We have a scholarship program designed to support those recovering from substance abuse and who are seeking freedom from the bondage of addiction. Too many Hamilton County lives have been lost to overdose and poisoning deaths. We invite you to attend the Not My Child 5K Run/Walk to raise awareness of this crisis within our community and have some fun in the process!
